Super Fresh Bags was launched in 2012 after four years of experimentation with food storage bags designed to keep fresh vegetables and fresh fruit last longer.

Many of us lead busy lives. Sometimes we are unable to go to the supermarket to purchase fresh produce. When this happens don’t we wish we had some way to store extra vegetables and fruit and keep them as fresh as possible? What about those times when we had to throw out deteriorating vegetables and fruit because we ate out more often and cooked less at home? Or when we simply forgot that we had carrots and lettuce we bought last week (but was tucked out of sight) that had started to wither! What a waste of food and money!

Hence began the idea to design a food storage bag that can keep vegetables and fruit fresh in the refrigerator for at least two weeks, ensuring healthy, balanced meals at all times for the family. The bags help to prevent spoilage and wastage, thus saving money on food expenditure. The bags are also re-usable and affordable.

Our experiments proved that these bags retain freshness in vegetables and fruit in excess of two weeks. Certain fruit and vegetables were fresh for more than three weeks. Freshness assessment is highly subjective. To the best of our knowledge and research there are no scientifically proven methodologies to assess levels of freshness.
